Hello Dear Robotlegs Users, And Good Morning!

I'm building a takeover using Robotlegs. At some point I might have to target a MovieClip already on stage in the target Flash file (this being a Flashbuilder Flash Professional Project). Robotlegs runs fine whithin this project :

But can I access the root of the target flash file ?

As in all Flashbuilder Flash Professional Projects, Flash is compiling the SWF and so my main Application class is set as Document class (whereas the 'shell' Application class just launches Flash to compile). This works fine.

But then bearing in mind that my main Robotlegs Application.as class is document class; when I write new ContextView(this). Does that mean that my contextView is the root of the target Flash file? Or should I write new ContextView(root)?

Thanks!

Thomas, I don’t quite understand what you are asking. That’s maybe because I created a Flash Pofessional Project in FlashBuilder only once, in order to help a user on this forum. Here is the discussion: http://knowledge.robotlegs.org/discussions/problems/336-1070-contex...

In one of my answers ( nr. 19) , there is an example attached. Take a look at it and see if it is of any help to you, and let me know about it.

Sorry, if I missed the point completely.
