Inject into property inside Script block in MXML file?

Is this not possible? If I [Inject] into a property that is inside MXML files script block, it never happens, yet a pure as class works fine.

    I forgot to mention that it is not a recommended practice to inject directly into a component, just in case you didn’t know that:)
