I would like to use RL2 for the first time and have only used one other framework that used swc files. The project I am working on is built in the Flash Pro CC IDE.
So hopefully, my quick dummy questions make sense
Where does the swc file go? Adobe help isn't much help in this. I did see that someone said to check the export swc box when exporting. However I don't think that this has much to do with the particular RL2 swc files.

Can I use just the Flash Pro CC IDE?

I see something mentioned about SwiftSuspenders. Is this something I am going to need?

Thank you kindly,
Mike

    Hi Mike,

Create a lib or libs folder inside your project. Put robotlegs.swc inside the libs folder. Open the Publish Settings for your project, click on the icon next to Script:Actionscript 3.0.
In the Advanced ActionScript 3.0 Settings, choose Library Path and click on the folder icon to browse to the path of "libs". After you've chosen the libs folder, it should appear in the list and the robotlegs.swc is available inside your project.

See this too, for keeping metadata ( like [Inject]) intact inside your project:

Hope that helps :) Let me know how it goes.
