Hi, all!

Anyone successfully integrated Robotlegs with GraniteDS, who would like to share some insights? :D

    Hey Netphreak,

Personally, I don’t have any experience with GraniteDS, so I can’t say if there is something that would not work with robotlegs.
I’ve had a look at Granite’s documentation, and I don’t know if I understood correctly, but the Tide framework’s features (DI, Event Bus, Contextual Components) are similar to Robotlegs?
Do you want to use Robotlegs instead of Tide, or both together?
Have you already tried to use robotlegs with Granite? If the answer is yes, what kind of problems did you encounter?
    More details, please:)

    Hi, Ondina!

My first challenge was the fact, that both frameworks use the [Inject] annotation - so i had to route all Tide remote object stuff through Robotlegs.

And it seems to work pretty much hassle free.

My next problem is how to manage the Tide/Gravity push notifications, as there are only examples for Parsley an Tide. The examples are located in the GraniteDS core download, the spring-tide-hibernate example. But i can't quite figure out how to make it fit with Robotlegs - yet.

The regular Tide RemoteObject stuff is working great - and it has a few things which are handled a lot smarter compared to the Adobe RemoteObject implementation - like login, role and session handling.

    Hi Netphreak,

The examples are located in the GraniteDS core download, the spring-tide-hibernate example.

I was looking at the examples under https://github.com/graniteds/graniteds/tree/master/examples, but couldn’t find a parsley demo.

    I might be blind ;)
Could you post a link to the example in question? Or just paste your code in here or attach a simple example?

My next problem is how to manage the Tide/Gravity push notifications, as there are only examples for Parsley an Tide.

    I’ve read this:
    http://www.graniteds.org/public/docs/2.3.0/docs/reference/en-US/htm...

and looked at the graniteds_chat example to see how gravity’s Producer and Consumer have been used.

Now it’s your turn to narrow down your question. If I won’t be able to answer it, I’m pretty sure someone else will have a solution for you .
