Great Framework. Really think it's the best framework I've used
so far. Perhaps you could help me out here. I have a Mediator class
which is being created automatically, and it's associated View
extends an abstract class which extends Sprite and implements a few
interfaces. One thing which is really strange though is that
sometimes button clicks on the view are not registering. Sometimes
they do, sometimes they don't. Like, they always will register if I
set a breakpoint at a certain line number in the Mediator, but if I
remove the breakpoint, it goes back to intermittent functioning.
Seems like some asynchronous issues to me, but I don't know. I'm
using the latest RC7 from github, and that latest swiftsuspenders
from github as well.

Any insights?

asaitag:robotlegs.tenderapp.com,2009-10-18:Comment/5996342009-11-17T19:06:53Z2009-11-17T19:06:53ZMouse Clicks Registering Only Sometimes

Would you mind attaching the mediator source?

Joel Hookstag:robotlegs.tenderapp.com,2009-10-18:Comment/5996342009-11-17T19:38:15Z2009-11-17T19:38:20ZMouse Clicks Registering Only Sometimes

No problem.

asaitag:robotlegs.tenderapp.com,2009-10-18:Comment/5996342009-11-17T19:49:40Z2009-11-17T19:49:40ZMouse Clicks Registering Only Sometimes

Are you sure that there isn't something "blocking" your view -
like a transparent sprite somewhere above it or something like
that?

Shaun Smithtag:robotlegs.tenderapp.com,2009-10-18:Comment/5996342009-11-17T19:57:24Z2009-11-17T19:57:29ZMouse Clicks Registering Only Sometimes

Yes, I'm sure. If I add a trace statement to the View itself it
will trace out the mouse click every time.

asaitag:robotlegs.tenderapp.com,2009-10-18:Comment/5996342009-11-17T20:45:20Z2009-11-17T20:49:49ZMouse Clicks Registering Only Sometimes

One thing I'm finding is that often, after I do a clean on the
project, it works...then when I run again, it doesn't...so I'm
thinking it has more to do with Flash Builder 4 Beta 2, than
RobotLegs perhaps...

asaitag:robotlegs.tenderapp.com,2009-10-18:Comment/5996342009-11-17T23:08:21Z2009-11-17T23:08:21ZMouse Clicks Registering Only Sometimes

Can you strip it down and post the FXP/zip archive? It isn't
sounding like a Robotlegs problem, but I'd like to get to the
bottom of it.

Joel Hookstag:robotlegs.tenderapp.com,2009-10-18:Comment/5996342009-11-17T23:11:00Z2009-11-17T23:11:00ZMouse Clicks Registering Only Sometimes

Actually, you're right, it's not. I discovered just now, that
it's a browser issue, there's something with the browser which is
causing this problem, using FF on Win 2K3 server, and it's a
problem. I don't see the same problem when the SWF is run
standalone. So, false alarm. Thanks, guys.

asaitag:robotlegs.tenderapp.com,2009-10-18:Comment/5996342009-11-17T23:12:38Z2009-11-17T23:12:38ZMouse Clicks Registering Only Sometimes

Ah col, glad you narrowed it down. Cheers.

Joel Hooks
