    Hi Ajar,

Not sure why Charles isn't working for you. I use it - actually, I haven't used it for AMF in a long time, and I can't seem to find any AMF driven apps online to test with. It certainly used to work very well. Know of any services I can test with?

I see you mentioned that Charles messed up your proxy settings. That shouldn't happen. You just need to be careful about closing your browser while Charles is running. Also, to work with Firefox, you need to install an add-on. Chrome and Safari should work straight out of the box though.

Never have had problems with Charles, but fiddler's an alternative:

It's a Windows exe, but also runs under parallels:

Thank you so much for responding :)

creynders - as far as I know Fiddler doesn't monitor AMF packets...
Shuan - I finally got Charles to work! so thanks.
personally I don't know if any of you got to use serviceCapture, but I really liked working with its interface. easy to spot the AMF calls from the rest and it shows you only the data and if you want to drill into the headers you can, but it isn't the default, so it is much less noisier...
from looking at his support forums, it doesn't look like serviceCapture is a live project though, it works well on my windows machine, but not so well on my mac, and it supports only old versions of Firefox....
would love to know more alternatives if anyone care to share.
Shuan - regarding the services to test, I'm not sure what's you intention
    but I work in a start-up called (home-exchange platform)
we haven't launched the actual platform yet, but our tech choice was and still is
Flash/Flex with flash remoting for rpc calls
    and obviously we LOVE Robotlegs!
will let you know when we launch

@Ajar: Ah, didn't know fiddler doesn't monitor AMF packets, good to know! It's a long time since I've used it. Glad you got Charles working, it rocks. And good luck on the launch!
