Robotlegs 2 is dead ?
We are very excited waiting the release o robot legs 2 but time is moving and the project appears to be dead ? a few months more and there is no reason to get involved and use Robotlegs 2.
There is not release date, there are no updates, there are no donations request. there are not development progress :(

Did you check the GitHub repository? It's alive!

The framework is not beta yet, but already works.
You should definitely try it!
