Unit Testing with ASC2 Compiler

@Shaun, putting your problems with getting your FB4.7 license aside, I believe you can run the ASC2 compiler form the commandline so you should be able to run your unit tests without FB.

Also, as a contributor to an open source project, you can apply for a free license to JetBrains IntelliJ IDEA which does support the ASC2 compiler, along others including Flex.

    Chris, do you manage to get your way with rsl for pure AS3 in Intellij?

    I'm currently not using IntelliJ nor pure AS3, however, I believe that is controllable with a config.xml file like you can with mxmlc compiler.

    The main issue here is that FlexUnit itself won't compile with ASC2 as far as I'm aware.

    Yup, that's exactly what I did a couple of years back. IntelliJ is my IDE of choice - it's the business!
